SENIOR CYBERSECURITY PROJECT MANAGER – Jan 1, 2026 Start Contract to Hire
The selected candidate will assist the client’s Cybersecurity Operation team with creating a detailed, multi-year, multiple-phase ZTA project plan and schedule while engaging various business units to develop a phased approach to implementing ZTA activities for the client’s Enterprise IT and OT environments. The candidate will be responsible for
  • coordinating dates and gaining commitments from BU stakeholders (Director-Level).
  • organize and facilitate these Director-Level discussions to inform plan and schedule for ZTA implementation activities.
  • monitor weekly progress and adherence to schedule and make updates to the plan as the project progresses with Cybersecurity Management approval.
  • work with each of the functional Bu areas to identify barriers and roadblocks with a weekly rollup to Cybersecurity management and CIO for further escalation,
  • Collaboration meetings and supporting decks to advise Cybersecurity and IT leadership on significant risk, issues, and mitigation to support ZTA Roadmap Implementation activities
  • ZTA specific project management support in ZTA Roadmap and Implementation (Planning, Cost Schedules, and Performance)
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Physical or remote office space, phone, reliable internet connection that supports 2 Mbps or higher in order to ensure optimal performance for MS Teams meetings and virtual collaboration.
  • 5+ years of experience
  • A minimum of three (3) years working within a Cyber Security Project Manager function.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing Information Technology (IT) project or program management functions.
Advanced level experience with project planning tools.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United Stated without the need for employer sponsorship.
  • available during regular business operating hours (8:00AM – 5:00PM PST) to execute the above scope of work with minimal oversight, support/establish virtual meeting as needed;
  • perform an independent gap analysis of existing processes, and work to create recommendations for process refinement; and or new process execution(s) based on their findings.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience evaluating, recommending, and implementing commercial hardware and software security products to augment and enhance enterprise cybersecurity program.
  • Experience with system, device, and application-level hardening and assessing the cybersecurity posture of software, hardware, and firmware.
  • Experience with supporting an integrated, dynamic cyber defense and leveraging cybersecurity solutions to deliver cybersecurity operational services.
  • Experience researching emerging technology, requisite security requirements, and emerging threats to develop a way forward to meet organizational goals.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), ISC2 Certified – Governance Risk and Compliance (CGRC) or Certified Authorization Professional
  • (CAP), ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), ISACA Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), CompTIA Certified Advanced Security Practitioner (CASAP+), CompTIA Security+
  • B.S computer Science (CS), Management of Information Systems (MIS), Electrical Engineering (EE), or Cybersecurity from an accredited University.
